Travelling Day

 Came back from North Wales yesterday.  Very wet and misty until Shrewsbury, and the roads were very busy.  

Tanygrisiau

 Got a day walking in the slate quarries at Tanygrisiau in Snowdonia. Weather was not great so definitely a day for Black and White.

Porthmadog and Criccieth

 An afternoon along the coast between Porthmadog and Criccieth.

Morfa Nefyn and St Cybi Well

A grey and overcast day and the weather look better on the North Coast of The Llyn Peninsula.

 Boxing Day drive to Wales.

After a very damp and foggy drive the skies cleared just beyond Llangollen.

Christmas Day

 It's Christmas Day and I"m round at daughter and son in law for the day. A walk with the dog and then food and relaxing. 

Christmas Eve

 Christmas Eve has arrived. Some time for a little work in the garden. The winer Jasmine is about the only colour at the moment.

Nearly Christmas

 Almost Christmas.  Presents all purchased, cards written and sent, the tree is up and decorated.

It will be a new experience for Christmas this year and Christmas Day will be my 1000th post on the blog. Lots of things have changed in 12 years.

Frosty Morning

 Yesterday was the winter solstice and the first hard frost of the winter. Up early and a walk along the frosty footpaths around Margaretting. In the afternoon a walk around Debden and Constable country.
