Down on Ayrshire coast between Ayr and Culzean is the little fishing village of Dunure.
When my father was alive it was one of his favourite places to visit. So as a memorial to him we always try and stop if we are near.
Today I took mum out for a drive and we ended up stopping by the harbour for half an hour.
While looking around the castle I read about its history. Quite interesting story including the roasting of the abbot!
Also digging through my files I found an image from the mid 70's today's shot is not from the same spot but its close.

Post production adjustments
After getting back from Scotland I have had some time for post production work on some of the images from last week. The final results are slightly different from the straight out of the camera images, are more what I 'saw' the images as being when they were shot.
