New Year, New Decade

So time rolls on as the year and the decade turn, life is going in new directions.

Today was a trip to Sissinghurst. Cold dark and very wintery.

Sissinghurst

Sissinghurst garden in Kent, were one of my late wife's favourite places to visit. We spent many hours walking in the gardens and around the estate.

The visit yesterday was the first since her death, and was made so much easier by  the good friends who took me down. We were even able to have a cream tea.

Sissinghurst.

The gardens at Sissinghurst are always worth a trip. At this time of year they are not at their best as far as flower blooms are concerned.

The tower is well worth the climb to the top as the view is spectacular.

Sunset Margaretting

A nice sunset but full moon stayed behind the clouds.
