 Well the promise of better weather did not happen today. At least its not cold though.

 A quick trip down to the riverfront while out running an errand.

Winter Solstice

My first thought is how did we get to the winter solstice so quickly! and how the world has shifted since this time last year. 

Also I haven't touched a camera in months, as life has been taken up by other concerns. Christmas looks to be another completely different experience, the fourth in a row.

Looking ahead, next year may hopefully be better than the past few. 

Hopefully I can start taking pictures and this will be a foundation to build on.

Had another walk into town and ended ub by the riverside.

Todays walk took me down to the river. Then a queue for beer at the Compass.

First Sun of the New Year.

It's been a very grey and overcast start to the new year, but today the sun came out late in the day.

Went down to the riverside and did a few images.
