I have been looking at the clam shell as a background for another shell for some time. I also converted the images to B&W, it seems to work.

Shell on Driftwood
Over the past few week I have been collecting 'things' to be used as props in photographs. The aim being to give me the chance to create images in the dark nights of winter.
One find was a wonderful piece of wood bored out by Toledo Worms. I found it on the beach at Bawley Bay in Gravesend, and it has been drying out for the past month, after a good cleaning.
These images are the first I have made with this piece of wood.

Greenhithe
Again found a few moments to get down by the river at Greenhithe before work today. The sky was rather bland but I liked the way the shapes of the crane came together. I also found a bit of driftwood that I could use for a background. It will go into the growing collection!
