 To make it different this year we went to the midnight service at Great Malvern Priory.

Stars and clouds

 Last night was the last cloudless night forecast so a trip out was in order.  then today the clouds had rolled in.  

Snow at Night

 After the frost came the snow. Late oin the afternoon it slowly started to fall and by 9PM 4" had fallen. A late night walk was magical.  The camera was pushed to the  limit as the light level;ls were so low.

Night storm

 for about half an hour last night we had one of the most intense thunderstorms I can remember. Almost continuous thunder and lightening.

Jordan Day 4 delayed Blogging

 Day 4 was a "free" day in Petra. 

We had an early breakfast and then walked back down to the site.  Thew day was cooler , less windy and much quieter than the day before, so all in all a much nicer experience. we walked all the way up to the Monastery site which is about 800 steps and a climb of over 600'. 

That evening we went back down to the Treasury for Petra by Night. A bit of a scrum but glad we did it.
