Travelling Day

 Came back from North Wales yesterday.  Very wet and misty until Shrewsbury, and the roads were very busy.

Always a bit traumatic when the front of the car has to come off to repair the AC

 Yesterday did not end well. Car was transported to a local garage and will need a new injector. Unfortunately the injector is not readily available so I am anchored down in Wales for a couple of days. 

Wales

 In Wales and some time to for photography. Until the car broke down. 

The real Friday post

 Travelled to Glasgow today Now that it is legal to do so. Delivered a car to my eldest.

Evening light

Picked some of the Peony flowers for the kitchen.

Also washed the car

Lego

Had to visit Bluewater yesterday.

Was amazed to see the Lego McLaren on display.

Fog and Cars

Not a new image from today but another from Friday for the start of the new year.

Trabant

I have known that there is an old Trabant car parked up behind a garden wall of a house that I pass on my way to the station.

It must have been there for at least a dozen years perhaps longer.

Until a few weeks it had been concealed by a door and walls. Then a tree came down and demolished the walls. Since then it has been in view but almost concealed under ivy.

It was one of the things on my mental list of things to photograph, today I had a camera and the time. so I got a picture or two.

Ford Focus

Today is the last day with my Ford Focus. Having owned this car longer than I have owned any car in my life, and putting about 80,000 miles on it we are getting a replacement.

There are few cars that I have loved and in the past only one I have hated, heres looking at you Peugeot 405!

This Focus has done its job but now its a bit big for V to enjoy to drive so off it goes.

Park in the Market

I seem to have got a theme running of cars or roads.

These images were taken on the Scottish trip. The red car was my hire car and the misty shot was taken from the top deck of an Edinburgh bus.

Cars at Greenwich Market

One night a month there is a car meet at the market at Greenwich. Undercover in the old market area a selection of cars and bikes gather. There are food and drink stalls around the sides and a life band plays.

Frosty Morning

It was cold and frosty this morning. My car was covered in frost which gave some nice images.

The weather has gone back to cold and cloudy, so I am posting images shot last weekend when I was out looking for an image of the full moon.
