Again the colours caught my eye, the background is a granite bollard.

Morning on the Thames

Got out early this morning and went down to the Thames to see what was happening. The first image I did was of the reflections in the canal basin. The image has an almost symmetrical balance but just enough asymmetry to be interesting. 

After I got that shot I was just about to leave when I looked out onto the river and the SS Waverley paddling down river.

The cherry trees planted in the road near our house have started to change into their wonderful colours.

Raindrops on paintwork

The rain started today.

It was almost the first wet day since late August here in Kent today. The water drops on the bonnet of a car caught my eye as I was on my way out.

October 1st

New month starting, and only 3 months until the New Year. The images today are a bit of an odds and ends, of a collection. The orange leaf is from a Mahonia bush I passed on the way into town yesterday.
