Did a bike ride out to the church on the marshes this morning, before the weather changed.

Had another walk into town and ended ub by the riverside.

Worn Gloves

After 5 days working to strip paint off the wall by my front door my gloves are nearly worn out. plus a shot from a short walk tonight.

Tilbury

Had a trip to B&Q today while there had a look at the ships in at Tilbury. It would appear there are now 8 cruise ships moored in the docks.

Archives

I have in my collection many thousand slides. many going back nearly 60 years. Scanning them on a film scanner is slow and mostly overkill.

So I have resurrected my old computer, with a monitor from an old PC. Although not used in 10 years, it fired up fine and although slow it is not a problem as the bottleneck is how fast I can change slides.

Just found a box with almost 1000 slides inside. It will take a few days to copy and any that are worth scanning at higher resolution can be put through my film scanner.

Double Rainbow

The weather is still unsettled, so today was a stunning double rainbow from Windmill Hill. The towers at the bottom are the Sikh Gurdwara.
